A day in the life of Kola

The ‘life of a carer’ can never be understood. I wake up in the morning, complete my daily prayers, God first. I prepare myself ahead for the day. I then check my phone to know my clients for the day, their times and their different tasks and the support required. Sometimes the driving is hectic…or smooth, depending on the traffic!

First and foremost, I kit myself in the full PPE. Put on the apron, pop my gloves on, having extras in the pocket in case! If needed I’ll pop a face mask on, small bottle of sanitiser inside my tunic pocket. Scrambling key safes, writing clients notes, reporting of any concerns and if I require some guidance or advice, I know I can call the office at any time, day or night. Endlessly ensuring highly satisfied and comfortable customers. AM, PM, sunny, rainy or even snowy, I know my clients can rely on me to support them.  Every day is completely different, but that’s the job, and I love it.
